Technomousse

Technomousse - first mousse designed for ADV tyre use

Italian specialist Technomousse has built its reputation on innovation. "Over the past few years, we've taken our anti-puncture technology to the highest levels of competition, becoming a benchmark for riders who demand the best from every component.

"However, we knew that something was still missing in the Dual, Adventure and Rally world. Travelers, explorers on two wheels, those who ride across asphalt and dirt and face long distances in unpredictable conditions, needed a mousse truly designed for them. That's what we have worked hard to present - a totally new system."

Technomousse has developed an innovative mousse with an integrated inner tube, protected by an international patent. A hybrid system that combines the solidity, reliability and mechanical protection of their traditional mousse with the ability to fine-tune performance through internal air pressure.

"In other words, no longer a passive structure, but a dynamic system that adapts to terrain type, bike weight, riding style and payload, simply by adjusting the air pressure.

"We want to emphasize that all the unique technical features of Technomousse - such as no expiration date and consistently high performance - remain unchanged. To that, we've added a new level of adjustability and customisation, turning it into a true competition-ready tool."

This mousse was created to meet the needs of those who tackle long trips, rallies, technical trails and mixed terrain. "It's a solution that provides safety in any condition, protects the rim even in the event of sudden pressure loss, and ensures smooth, precise and controlled riding".

The result of months of testing, development and direct feedback from riders, "this new technology takes us into a segment where, until now, no one had delivered a mousse truly up to the challenge. And we're doing it with the same spirit that has always driven us: to innovate and enhance the riding experience - anywhere, anytime, with no compromises."

Oxford Products

Oxford product additions

HotGrips Pro 2.0

The next evolution of HotGrips Pro from Oxford Products is a fully integrated heated grip with two additional heat settings added in response to customer feedback - making them ideal for riders tackling extreme winter temperatures with thick gloves.

Controlling the temperature is easy, simply press the button on the clutch-side grip and the multi-coloured LED light indicates the selected setting before dimming - to reduce distraction whilst driving.

Each grip houses its own internal temperature control unit which independently measures and controls the heat of each grip using inbuilt thermistors to maintain the desired temperature setting.

They are manufactured from silicone, a material that increases the grip's lifespan by up to 200% without compromising comfort or performance - as well as delivering cable strain improvement and enhanced grip levels.

Features include 5 smart heat settings in total (Red 55°C, Purple 50°C, Green 45°C, White 40°C and Blue 35°C) with a thermistor that reacts to temperature changes in the environment, adjusting the heat output accordingly (maintaining the selected temperature setting).

The built-in integrated controller allows the rider to effortlessly control the temperature of their Hotgrips Pro without removing their hand from the grip and the intelligent heat setting memory function stores the previous heat setting and defaults to this at power-up.

Battery saving modes protect against flat batteries, with an additional battery saving mode for lithium batteries. The fully waterproof connectors and integrated controller meet IP65 rating; a more compact cable exit enables grip size to be reduced.

These HotGrips 2.0 Pro are bar end weight friendly, designed for 7/8" (22 mm) handlebars and there offered in three ride style versions - Adventure, Touring and Sport bike riding - with a range of advanced application specific features from vibration absorption values, customisable grip lengths and grip profile knurling tread patterns.

Sprint Filter

Sprint Filter - Ducati Panigale V4 R

Every Ducati "R" model is born for racing, and at the heart of the brand-new Panigale V4 R lies Sprint Filter's high-permeability air filter - the same technology that is trusted in MotoGP and Superbike, and the same technology used to build every Sprint Filter application, whether for street or race.

Unlike traditional paper filters, Sprint Filter's polyester element, supported by dual stainless-steel meshes, reduces the pressure drop by 37%, directly contributing to sustaining a maximum possible power output.

The Panigale V4 R is the latest descendant of a saga that began in 2001 with the legendary 996R, the foundation of Ducati's Superbike dominance. Produced in a numbered series with its model name and progressive number engraved on the top yoke, "the new V4 R embodies the most advanced racing DNA," says Fabrizio Marucci, Sales & Marketing Manager.

At its core is the 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R, designed for World Superbike and "evolved according to the same philosophy that guides Ducati Corse in MotoGP. It delivers "more sustained torque and power curves".

"For maximum efficiency on track, Sprint Filter adapted its P08 high-permeability air filter to the new V4 front dynamic air intake developed with Ducati Corse. Compared to the standard Panigale V4, its lower edge is extended by 70 mm, increasing air pressure at the filter by 0.6% at 300 km/h. This gain translates into denser airflow and an additional +1.3 hp at the same speed. The intake edge is made from a special deformable material, designed to withstand contact with the front fender during the most aggressive braking phases."

The numbers speak for themselves," says Fabrizio, "218 hp maximum power, with an average gain of +4 hp from 4,000 rpm to peak power. The torque curve is raised across the rev range, with +7% at 6,000 rpm and a maximum of 114.5 Nm at 12,000 rpm; the top speed is 318.4 km/h, reaching 330.6 km/h with the racing exhaust."

Top Block

Top Block for Aprilia Tuono 457

French specialist Top Block has a range of accessories for Aprilia's compact A2 license friendly Tuono 457 roadster. This new model shares its engine with the RS 457 and is clearly aimed at A2 license holders.

Among a range of road and track use "essentials" entirely manufactured in-house at their French headquarters, Top Block crash pads are machined from a single block of 'Ertacetal C' - a high-performance polyacetal copolymer ('engineering plastic') known for its excellent mechanical strength, rigidity, and hardness.

This material also offers superior shock and wear resistance, while promoting controlled sliding in case of impact. The sleek, compact design blends seamlessly with the bike's lines.

The pads are mounted on 8 mm thick steel brackets, laser-cut and folded, then finished with a black epoxy coating. Each bracket uses three mounting points for enhanced durability. The complete pad-and-bracket system integrates perfectly with the sharp design of the new Aprilia roadster.

For those who want to refine the bike's look, a high-mount license plate holder is also available. Once installed in place of the original unit, it gives the rear end a much cleaner appearance - retaining only the small indicators and taillight. The bracket is laser-cut from an aluminum sheet, then precision shaped and finished with a black epoxy coating.

It has a removable reflector mount, fits OEM or aftermarket indicator installations (adapter kit included), comes with a road-legal SMD LED unit by TBR (Top Block Racing) and meets license plate angle regulations. Many Top Block products are backed by a 5-year warranty.

Zard

CFMoto - lighter weight, more power and deeper sound

This is a is a first for International Dealer News, and (as if any were needed) further confirmation of the advances that Chinese motorcycle brands, and CF Moto in particular, are making here in Europe - an aftermarket exhaust for the well liked 450MT that has been handcrafted in Italy by Zard.

The CFMoto 450MT has a parallel-twin engine, not a V-twin, but it is designed with a 270° crankshaft to give it a staggered firing order and distinctive throaty exhaust note and a power delivery similar to a V-twin, favouring low-end torque.

The engine features dual balance shafts, which reduce vibration and provide smooth acceleration. Zard has optimized these characteristics to deepen the character of the sound still further with their compete systems for MT450 models.

The satin finish AISI 304 stainless-steel euro 5+ homologated slip-on features a carbon fiber heat shield and can be paired with a high-performance header decat "delivering rugged durability, reduced weight."

The racing version offers a notable weight reduction of -1.2 kg, with a performance increase of +1.4 hp. The E5+ homologated version reduces weight by -1.1 kg and boost power by +1 hp, "while delivering the distinctive sound that defines every Zard system".

The decat header delivers a significant weight reduction of -1.7 kg, with a performance boost of +1.5 hp.

This exhaust for the 450MT does not require ECU remapping, is easy to install, and is ready to be used right away. A carbon fibre heat shield for the header can be purchased separately.
