France win Motocross of Nations
The French team of Gautier Paulin, Dylan Ferrandis and Steven Frossard won the Chamberlain Trophy and the Motocross of Nations by a massive margin at Kegums in Latvia on September 28th, 2014.
This is only the second time the French riders have won the Motocross of Nations (the last and first time was in 2001), and French riders will now defend the title on home soil at Emee, France, in 2015.
Riding Kawasakis, the French riders finished each of the crucial Sunday afternoon races in the top 10, and will now have the honour of running the number 1, 2 and 3 plates next year.
Team Belgium, who held poll position going into the races, took second place overall, with team USA third, GB fourth and title holders Germany fifth.
