Horex out of businessGERMAN specialist motorcycle manufacturer Horex has had to give up on its plan to continue production despite their insolvency filing of August this year.
The company used social media in early December to announce that it had closed its doors and dismissed its staff.
The company exhibited at INTERMOT in October, and announced a plan to continue all business operations but it would appear that no fresh capital was available to help it continue production and that the debts incurred so far, especially in connection with attempts to develop its narrow angle V6 engine for the VR6 Roadster and Classic models had finally proven too much.
