As part of a new range of accessories by GIVI for "fast bikes", this new SLD01 slider features an "aerodynamic shape", laser engraving and inserts in anodised aluminium.
This slider is 100% made in Italy from a fibreglass reinforced polymer, with inserts machined from solid aluminium, then anodised in four different colours (natural, red, green and black). GIVI's logo is laser-engraved, and there are no visible screws.
It is fitted with kits specific to the motorcycle model, with the exception currently of the Honda CB 1000R (2018), which uses the original frame mounting points. It is said to be sufficiently sturdy to "take the brunt" of repeated scrapes and wear and tear and is also "resistant to solvents, fuel, direct sunlight and humidity".
