RUKKA has new clothing options available that are suitable for warmer weather riding with the release of its AirMan jacket and Rytmi gloves.
For the AirMan Rukka has made use of its AirPower concept of making jackets that can be layered up. Worn without the detachable inner jacket, the AirMan allows a cooling stream of air through the soft Cordura AFT knitwear material of the outer jacket to the wearer’s body. Passive safety is still assured not only through Cordura AFT’s high abrasion resistance, but also because of reinforcement where it is needed and through the use of CE certified Rukka D3O Air joint protectors.
When worn with the inner jacket, the AirMan protects the wearer from cold and wet weather. The inner jacket not only features a wind and waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex climate membrane, it also uses the temperature-regulating Outlast material. The AirMan’s collar is made from soft Neoprene and features a magnet closure. Sleeve and waist adjusters ensure a perfect fit, and several pockets, some of them waterproof, offer space for the wallet, mobile phone and other necessities.
The AirMan jacket is available in titan/black and black with hi-vis yellow in sizes 46 through 66.
The AirMan can be paired with the Rukka AirVision trousers, available in an even greater range of sizes: with regular leg length in sizes 46 through 62, with shorter legs in sizes 48 through 66, and with longer legs in sizes 48 through 58.
The summer weight Rytmi leather gloves feature integrated protection for the knuckles along with PVC studs for increased grip on the palms. Velcro strips on the elastic cuffs help keep the gloves in place and, in addition, touchscreen fingertips allow the wearer to operate a GPS system or a smart phone with the gloves on.
Available in all black or with highlights in red and white or in high-vis yellow and white, the Rytmi gloves are available in many sizes.
