Caberg

Caberg adds three helmets

Caberg has added the ‘EVO’ to its ECE approved Drift sport riding full-face helmets range, with a 2-size carbon/Kevlar/GFK tricomposite rear spoiler equipped outer shell and redesigned inner lining and cheek pads for a closer fitting and custom-fit option.

Drift EVO

The quick release visor mechanism allows visor self-adjustment to guarantee a close contact of visor and window beading, with a spring double movement mechanism that prevents water or air ingress – a lever on the left side of the visor mechanism allows the position of the visor to be stopped at 0.5 cm from the window beading to avoid or eliminate fogging; when the lever is lifted, the visor is locked to avoid sudden opening.
The Drift ‘EVO’ is also equipped with a transparent anti-scratch visor, an adjustable Pinlock lens Max Vision, and a lever operated, integrated anti-scratch sunshade DVT visor (Double Visor Tech).
Drift ‘EVO’ has a comms-ready, removable and washable lining and weighs in at 1,350 (+/-50 g) for the tricomposite and around 100 g less for the full carbon version.

Jackal

The ECE 22.05 ‘Jackal’ is a new 2-size polycarbonate shell full-face that features “a sporty and dynamic design combined with the comfort and technical solutions of a touring helmet with an entry-level price and the quality of an Italian product.”
The removable and washable hypoallergenic and breathable lining, three air vents, rear extractor, adjustable two-way chin guard air vent and twin top vents, removable chin and nose deflectors, integrated DVT (Double Visor Tech) sunshade visor and Pinlock lens make the ‘Jackal’ a feature-rich package for the price-point and weighs 1,450 g (small shell) and 1,500 g (larger shell), +/- 50 g.

Finally, the ‘Levante’ is a new flip-up that features “innovative design and avantgarde technical solutions developed for the most demanding touring riders,” according to Caberg.

Levante

Offered in 2 sizes, weighing 1,550 g in the carbon/Kevlar/GFK tricomposite or 1,500 g in the full carbon shell version with P/J dual homologation, there are twin front vents and rear extractors with built-in inner shell air channels. Additional features include a panoramic ultra-wide visor, glove-friendly integrated DVT sunshade visor, Pinlock Max Vision lens and comms-ready removable and washable hypoallergenic and breathable lining.
