ROOF - Roadster and Boxxer V8
The Roadster was the original helmet design with which Claude Morin launched the ROOF brand back in 1993. Nearly 30 years later, The Roadster is still selling well and continues to be upgraded regularly.
The unique design features that made The Roadster a cult classic included the very first use of both a unique approach to the visor and a removable mask that could be fixed to the shell. The concept has spawned many imitators, but Claude has managed to stay one step ahead and now does so again with a patented magnetic locking system for the mask.

A unique feature that is said to combine "optimum ergonomics and secure locking", closable ventilation makes The Roadster an all-weather urban riding solution.
Additional features include a high-quality fiberglass shell, top lip seal, "silent lining comfort" with adjustable cheek pads and inner lining in antibacterial, ventilated and Quick Dry fabric, facial ventilation and top Venturi effect air vent, four points chinstrap for an increased stability, micrometric chinstrap buckle, polycarbonate injected and anti-scratch and anti-fog visor.

The Boxxer Twin - the flagship of the ROOF range - is said to have been the world's first "versatile" helmet when it was introduced in 1994 with rotating 180° chinbar. Seen here, the V8 (which is both jet and full-face certified) features automatic one-hand locking and sequential unlocking, a lighter shell, reversible lip seal, passive and active defog and inner lining side foams for adjustable fit.
The composite fiberglass shell gives the V8 a weight of around 1,600 g, and ROOF says it is the only 180 degree versatile helmet in fiberglass currently on the market, with features including optimised aerodynamics in jet position and Venturi air vents.
