Touring enhancements for BMW F 900 XR
Italian luggage and parts and accessories specialist GIVI has added options for the 2020 edition of the BMW F 900 XR.
An extensive range of accessories and bike-specific mounts are already available, depending on bike use and luggage loads, including a set of three thermoformed cases or hard cases, made from a choice of plastic, aluminium or a mix. Additionally, there are side bags in semi-rigid textiles, tank bags, windscreens with added protection, engine guards, rear mud guards, hand protectors, a widened side stand plate and small accessories to install electronic devices.
Other accessories include a rack in anodised aluminium for MONOKEY top cases (SRA5137) and a rack (5137FZ) for MONOKEY or MONOLOCK top cases, suitable for supporting the EX2M aluminium bag holder. This rack is not compatible with the factory side cases.
A new modular side frame, PL One-Fit, can be configured on the basis of the type of case to be mounted on the bike. It is a tubular frame with a diameter of 18 mm, which can transform into a rapid release rack when combined with the 02RKIT. Three versions of this system are available.
A pannier holder for V35 and V37 MONOKEY side cases (PLX5137) can also be combined with the 02RKIT for transforming it into a rapid release pannier holder. TE5137 is a holder for Easylock side bags or soft side bags, and the BF11 flange fits TANKLOCK and TanklockED tank bags.
There is also a transparent windscreen, size 49 x 43 cm (H x L), which substitutes the factory windscreen and provides an additional 23 cm in height for greater protection against airflow. It is also available in a smoked version (D5137S).
Other parts include TN5137, an engine guard made from black 25 mm diameter steel tube; a kit (RM5137KIT) to mount the RM02 spray guard to the rear wheel (available separately), made of fiberglass reinforced nylon; hand protectors in ABS (HP5137); a support in aluminium and steel to widen the contact area of the factory side stand (ES5137); and an upper bracket to be mounted behind the windscreen to act as a support for GIVI GPS/smartphone holders (FB5137).
