Scorpion EXO 520 Air/Smart Air and UCLEAR platform EXO-COM
The new EXO 520 Air by Scorpion features an advanced aerodynamic line and aggressive shapes that, thanks also to the front air intakes and the integrated rear spoiler, are said to promote optimal internal ventilation.
Described as a GT style helmet, EXO 520 Air has a lightweight, high-strength polycarbonate shell, glasses-friendly KwickWick 2 cheek pads, temperature stable lining fabric, an AirFit inflatable cheek pad system with ERS (Emergency Release System), Pinlock 3D Maxvision fog-free visor, Ellip-Tec II tool-free visor change ratchet system, especially designed air ducts for optimal air flow, visor locking system for hermetic closure or choice of opening positions and an integrated sun visor.
Described as "offering an extraordinary quality/price ratio, EXO 520 Air is a versatile, tech-rich touring helmet that's perfect for any situation". Approved to 22.05, the EXO 520 Air is 22.06 ready, is EXO-COM compatible and upgradeable and has an internal Speedview retractable sun visor with anti-fog treatment on both sides and micrometric closure.
EXO 520 Air is also available in a Smart version (EXO 520 Smart Air), which includes the new EXO-COM system as standard.
The result of a synergy between Scorpion Sports and UCLEAR technicians, EXO-COM is lightweight and easy to install. It integrates perfectly into the EXO 520 Air (and the EXO 930) as well as being pre-installed standard equipment with the Smart version.
Noted as a feature-rich, user-friendly advanced communications and entertainment platform, UCLEAR technology means up to fifteen hours of autonomy and a range of over 800 metres between each rider.
New Bluetooth 5.0 technology allows riders to connect different devices at the same time, while the modular communication network DYNAMESH offers the possibility of communicating simultaneously with four others without interruptions, even if the rider joins or leaves the group - the DYNAMESH technology in the UCLEAR range connects with Bluetooth headsets and rearranges itself automatically without any interruption or distraction and delivers easy access to Siri and Google with Voice Command.
A universal mounting kit means it can also be installed on Scorpion's EXO-S1, EXO-HX1 and EXO-Tech Carbon helmets; a few small modifications also make it adaptable to the EXO-1400 Carbon Air, EXO 1400 Air, EXO-510 Air, EXO-920 Evo and ADX-1 helmets.
