Dutch motorcycle market

Dutch motorcycle market +9.7 percent for first 11 months

The latest data released by Dutch motorcycle industry trade association RAI Vereniging shows new registrations in The Netherlands up by +9.7 percent for the first 11 months of 2015 at 11,163 units, with 311 motorcycles sold in November.
BMW is market leader, having sold 1,767 units so far this year, with Yamaha second (1,673 units), Kawasaki third (1,255 units), Suzuki fourth (1,154 units) and Honda fifth (1,151 units).
Moped (and Pedelecs/ea/E-bikes etc) sales are +8.8 percent for the year-to-date (16,741 units), with Piaggio as market leader (21.3 percent), followed by Kymco (19.7 percent) and Sym (15.1 percent).
