GIVI

Maxi Enduro side lights

Following in the evolution of GIVI’s R&D team’s ongoing LED and halogen lights development programmes, these S321 LED ‘projectors’ are designed to deal with an issue caused by the frame design and lights positioning on Maxi Enduro models.
The front headlight is usually positioned quite high, which can create areas of shadow to the side, near the front wheel and up some metres away.

Waterproof and certified as a fog lamp, the S321 uses LED technology and only 8 watts (16 watts in total for the pair, a consumption ably supported by the battery, enabling it to be used also on small to medium sized engines). The light beam is of lens profile type - direct but not blinding for oncoming traffic. The circuitry does not interfere with the proper functioning of the electrics (ECU, ignition etc.) and includes a fuse, cabling for direct connection to the battery and a waterproof switch to be installed on the handlebars. The set also includes a third cable for the connection to the ignition lock of the motorcycle.

The S321 has an aluminium housing featuring slender fins; the main body, painted in black, is a nice contrast to the silver rim holding the lens. The pair of lights can easily be fitted to all engine guards with a tubular diameter ranging from 21 to 25 mm by means of a round clamp, which can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically for the correct alignment of the light beam.

The S321 kit includes a light support and an accessory that enables use of the two lights even if the engine guard is absent - a 25 mm tubular rod to be fitted beneath the light that can also be used for an action camera. Currently this accessory is available for the BMW R nineT and R1200 RT, Kawasaki Versys 650, Yamaha Tracer 700 and Honda NC750X.
