Gilles ergonomic performance shift holder, rearsets and footpegs
Luxembourg based parts and accessory manufacturer Gilles Tooling has started the year strongly in new product application terms with a range of fitments for the Aprilia RS660 and Tuono 660, Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa and the Ducati Streetfighter V2.
For the RS660 specifically, Gilles' 'Shiho.GT' shift holders in hard anodised titanium are said to eliminate gear shift problems by stabilising the gear shaft, eliminating any shaft bending caused by shifting too hard or fast. The shaft is supported by needle bearings.

For the Tuono 660, its 'FXR.GT' rearsets are said to "deliver maximum performance and minimum weight with the pure sportiness of the Gilles design aesthetic".
The double ball bearing brake and shift levers offer 6-way adjustment of the racing style footrest, with reverse shifting possible.
For the Hayabusa, Gilles recommends its 'MUE2.GT' Supersport style rearsets - its latest design of rearset, offering an "outstanding quality perfect combination of low weight and stability". The double ball bearing brake and gear levers give multi-variable adjustment options for the folding footpeg.

Gilles also recommend its 'MUE2.GT' adjustable rearsets for the Ducati Streetfighter V2. For the Ducati Monster, Gilles recommend 'MPL.GT' foldable brake and clutch levers. Described as a "world first zero-backlash" lever design, they are said to deliver the "perfect combination of low weight and stability" with double ball bearings, very precise 3-step adjustment options and colour-match insert options.
The Suzuki GSX-S1000GT options include Gilles' 'RGK2.GT' touring footpegs for a "fast and easily mounted conversion that substantially improves long-distance rider ergonomics". Mounting direct to the OE mounting points, their specially designed, wider form delivers "the best possible comfort with or without the use of the rubber inserts". Separately available optional extensions give 360 degrees of adjustment.

To show that Gilles isn't only or all about sport bikes, for the internationally popular and hugely versatile Suzuki SV650 naked-style street bike, the company's 'RCT.GT' rearsets offer "many adjustment options - including adjustable toe pieces - for the best possible ergonomics". They feature foldable footpegs, and like most Gilles accessories, they are precision CNC-machined from high strength, lightweight billet aluminium.
