ACT Adventure Country Tracks

Adventure Country Tracks adds Croatia

ACT Adventure Country Tracks e.V. has validated a seventh ACT track, specifically designed for use with adventure bikes - this time in Croatia.

"Adventure Country Tracks provides an opportunity to experience the authentic spirit of a country, exploring as many unpaved routes as possible and deviating from the usual tourist routes". ACT Adventure Country Tracks e.V. is a registered association formed by a team of enthusiastic adventure riders. It aims to connect the last legally accessible gravel tracks in Europe, creating attractive routes through selected regions. All association members gain access to GPS data and extensive travel information.

Together with motorcycle icon Charley Boorman, who has joined the project for the second time, and with the support of industry partners, the ACT team ventured through Croatia from Pula to Split in early July, experiencing the approximately 1,000-kilometre challenging track for the first time. This new route is one of the ACT tracks with the highest off-road content.

This year, the association lists Touratech, Yamaha, Harley-Davidson, REV'IT!, Edelweiss Bike Travel, NEXX, Sena, Metzeler, Good Souls and Overlanders among its collaborators. Additionally, Ford, KTM, Husqvarna, Triumph and Garmin have joined as additional strong partners. Elvio Andrade, ACT founding member and board member, emphasized: "We are proud to have partnered with organisations that share our passion for adventure and exploration, supporting us in making the experience of adventure, freedom and life tangible and sustainable."

Founded in 2016, ACT is an association for motorcycle adventure riders that has been verifying new ACT tracks in Europe since 2016. "Each ACT track is carefully developed and encompasses the best legally accessible routes for heavy adventure motorcycles. The ACT tracks are available as GPS-readable tracks in the members' section of the ACT website".

Since 2016, the association has established tracks in Portugal, Italy, the Pyrenees, Romania, Greece and the United Kingdom.
