Spanish motorcycle market grows 19.8 percent in 2014
The latest data released by the motorcycle industry trade association in Spain (ANESDOR) shows that motorcycle sales were up 26.6 percent in December (6,291 units) and the market closed the year at +19.8 percent (110,396 units, up from 92,185 units in 2013) for the full twelve months of 2014.
The rebound in the Spanish market has been dramatic. This has been the best year in the Spanish motorcycle market since the 124,166 units that were sold in 2011.
In total PTW terms, the Spanish market was up 26.3 percent in December (7,372 units) and up 16.5 percent for the year at 124,678 units compared to 107,022 units in 2013 - also the best year since 2011.
