AKRAPOVIČ has increased its range of exhausts for Ducati models with the addition of slip-on mufflers and Evolution full systems for the ‘14–‘15 Monster 821, 1200 and 1200S, the ‘13–‘15 Hypermotard, and the Hyperstrada ‘13–‘15. Said to add power, increase torque and reduce weight compared to the standard system due to the use of titanium in the construction, the slip-ons are "plug-and-play", with no remapping or other parts needed.
The Evolution systems require one of two additional mandatory link pipes (with or without a catalytic converter) to fit the specific motorcycle. A carbon fibre heat shield is also available as an optional extra to replace the stock version.
All Akrapovič slip-ons can be upgraded to Evolution full systems with the addition of an optional in-house designed header manufactured using high-grade titanium for increased power and decreased weight.
