Nitron - XSR900 shock absorber options

The British and Japanese suspension manufacturer Nitron has added NTR shock absorber availability options for Yamaha's 2022-2023 XSR900 - seen here, this XSR900 is fitted with its NTR R3 remote reservoir performance shock absorber.

There are three NTR shock option levels available (NTR R1, R2 and R3). They start with the 24 clicks of combined compression and rebound offered by the NTR R1 (328.9 mm length with 50.4 mm stroke) and 24 clicks of rebound with 16 clicks of compression offered by the R2 (330.1 mm length with 48.7 mm stroke).

At the top of the NTR range, this R3 offers 24 clicks of rebound adjustment, with 16 clicks each of high speed and low speed compression (330.1 mm length with 48.7 mm stroke).

All three have 10 mm of spring preload with options including Nitron Blue or titanium black spring colours and Hydraulic Preload Adjuster (HPA) - all three have a preload barrel at the bottom of the shock to allow easy access for damping and preload adjustment when the HPA option is not chosen.

Nitron shocks (and fork cartridges) are fully serviceable and repairable and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
