Touratech 'Destino Touring GTX'
The versatile 'Destino Touring GTX' boot by German ADV specialist Touratech is equipped with a high-quality Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane and "combines bundled technologies and functionality with maximum comfort".
This high-tech membrane keeps feet dry even during prolonged rainstorms in combination with particularly efficient breathability - "even at high outside temperatures, the microporous membrane ensures reliable water vapour transport to the outside [wicking]".
Anatomically shaped Ortholite insoles form a comfortable, breathable footbed; a grippy outsole made of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) has "outstanding damping values and excellent foot rolling comfort".
Additional features include an accordion stretch insert, a polypropylene midsole with integrated reinforcement to protect the foot from twisting, heel and ankle shells that not only provide support but also, in combination with the robust toe cap, protect the foot from external impact. "The Touring GTX impressively demonstrated its high level of protection during the certification process in accordance with the EN 13634-2017 Level 2 | 1 | 2 | 2 standard".
Premium details include the integrated gear shift pad, the reflective inserts in the heel area, the generous zip cover and the loop with which this boot can be easily pulled on. The Destino was developed in cooperation with REV'IT!, and extensive experience gained with the high-end Destino Ultimate GTX boot has also been incorporated into the Touring GTX concept.
Made in Europe, the Destino Touring GTX has an "innovative material mix of leather, Hypalon and rubber, highlighted by the yellow accents".
