Ducati has seen the Futa

The Ducati E-Bikes range has been updated for 2022 and extended into the e-road segment with the new Futa. The first pedal-assisted road bike in the Ducati E-Bikes range, the FUTA is a "a high-performance e-road bike for those who want to train, have fun and pedal to their full potential".
The range is also updated with an evolution of the MIG-S and the presentation of the TK-01RR Limited Edition.

Giorgio Favaretto, Head of Ducati E-Bikes Business: "The Ducati E-Bikes project was born in 2019. The updates to existing models and the presentation of the new Ducati Futa make for a complete and higher-performance range of E-Bikes for 2022."
The Ducati MIG-S is "an agile, high-performance and fun All Mountain, born to tackle any trail and ensure maximum fun in any condition - renewed in its aesthetics with a brand-new sporty livery designed by Aldo Drudi in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ducati - it features the higher performance Shimano EP8 drive unit and updated components.
"The new EP8 represents a benchmark for the category. It is an exceptionally light motor (2.6 kg), capable of delivering up to 85 Nm of torque with a maximum servo assistance ratio of 400%. The maximum torque, timing and character of the motor's output can be tuned to the rider's preferences with the Shimano E-tube Project app".
Features include adjustable RockShox 35 RC fork and RockShox SuperDeluxe shock absorber with 150 mm of front and 140 mm of rear travel; 12-speed SRAM transmission; 4-piston SRAM Guide T brakes with 203 mm discs; 29" front and 27.5" rear Thok e-plus wheels; and externally positioned 630 Wh Shimano battery under the downtube for low centre of gravity and optimised stability.
The new Ducati TK-01RR Limited Edition is an "even more exclusive version of the Ducati e-enduro with more advanced components and improved downhill performance" - with Öhlins DH38 dual-plate motorcycle-style air fork (180 mm travel) and Öhlins TTX spring shock absorber (170 mm travel); 11-speed Shimano Di2 XT rear electronic shifter and Magura MT7 brakes with 220 mm front and 203 mm rear motorcycle derived discs. There are differentiated format Crankbrothers Synthesis wheels (29" front, 27.5" rear) with variable thickness carbon rims and Renthal carbon handlebar, Fizik saddle and carbon battery cover and skid plate.
"The most important Ducati powered by Thok news for 2022 is the Ducati Futa - named for the Futa Pass, the road that crosses the Italian Apennines connecting Bologna to Florence". Described as a "light, performing e-road", it has a carbon fibre monocoque frame with "a sport endurance geometry and technical choices oriented to aerodynamics and speed".
The compact, lightweight (3.98 kg) rear hub FSA System HM 1.0 motor delivers 250W and 42 Nm of torque and has five assistance levels that can be selected via the Garmin control on the handlebar. The FSA app allows the rider to view statistics, system status, remaining battery life and charge.
The low overall weight (12.4 kg in M size) and almost imperceptible engine resistance mean it can exceed 25 Km/h. The standard FSA K-Force WE groupset features smooth and fast 2x12-speed wireless electronic shifting, powerful 160 mm disc brakes with adjustable UD carbon interchangeable levers, crankset with carbon pedal arms and Vision AGX30 wheels with carbon rims.
The 250 Wh FSA battery is integrated in the downtube and an optional 250 Wh range extender is available to cover longer distances. The new Futa will also be available in an even lighter (12.2 kg) limited edition - available only in 50 numbered units - featuring a Campagnolo Super Record EPS electromechanical groupset, high strength, lightweight materials such as carbon, titanium and ceramic bearings, Vision Metron 40 SL wheels with carbon rims, highly aerodynamic Vision Metron carbon fibre handlebar with integrated stem and cables. The 250 Wh range extender is standard and there is a Garmin Edge Explorer GPS bike computer with customised handlebar mount.
