AIROH GP 800 - "technology, performance, safety, comfort"
Italian helmet specialist AIROH has introduced a new three shell size Full Face - the GP 800 - "a product that combines technology, performance, comfort and safety" for road and track use that stands out for its captivating design and aggressive lines".
Wind tunnel tested to optimise acoustics and thermoregulation, with the refined aerodynamics having been shown to be additionally improved by the pronounced rear spoiler.
Made with the highest quality materials, such as HPC Carbon, "which guarantees a perfect balance between lightness and resistance", the GP 800 has a starting weight of 1440g ±50g, placing GP 800 among the lightest helmets in its category - "without compromising strength and safety".
The GP 800 meets the highest (ECE 22.06) European safety standards. "The DD Ring retention system ensures a stable and reliable fastening, while advanced systems such as ASN (AIROH Sliding Net), which improves comfort and ventilation, and AEFR (AIROH Emergency Fast Release), which allows quick emergency cheek pads removal guarantee maximum protection".
An optical class 1 2D Racing Visor is designed to offer an extra-wide vision and the ATVR (AIROH Tool-less Visor Removal) system allows its quick removal and replacement, while the A3S (AIROH Automatic Antifog Position) system prevents fogging while riding - which, together with the Pinlock 120 XLT MAX VISION lens that is included inside the box, ensures a clear visibility in all conditions.
GP 800 inner linings have been designed to offer superior comfort, with the technical fabrics treated with 2DRY, Microsense and Sanitized, which make them hypoallergenic, removable, washable and breathable. Ventilation is by air intakes strategically positioned on the chin guard, on the front and upper part of the helmet, and by rear extractors that work with the rear spoiler to optimise air flow. Furthermore, the Hydra System is an ideal solution for those who have to face long journeys or demanding track sessions, allowing easy hydration while riding.
The AMLS system (AIROH Magnetic Lining System) simplifies inner lining removal with the use of magnets. The GP 800 is Bluetooth communication system ready and the package also includes useful accessories such as the double (summer and winter) Stop-Wind, the removable nose cover, a Dark Smoke visor (for racing use), and protective visor bag.
