Quantum+ Hardcoated screens for R 1300 GS
Maywood, Illinois based ZTechnik has added three new VStream windscreens to give the BMW R 1300 GS/GSA "some serious comfort and performance. These windscreens are offered in two different heights, Sport/Tour, available in dark tint or clear, and Touring, available in clear. The VStream range retains the OEM height adjustment, some 3", and the ZTechnik design team determined two height options would satisfy all riders."
VStream gets its name from its unique patented shape. The advanced "V" profile and dimensional contours push the wind vortex out and away from the rider's helmet and shoulders, resulting in a peaceful, quieter riding environment. They offer "improved wind protection and riding comfort" compared to other aftermarket windscreens.
The new state-of-the-art Quantum+ rain repellent hardcoating is a whole new generation of polycarbonate hardcoating developed in-house by ZTechnik that exceeds the hardness and scratch resistance of glass. The surface tension created by this new water repellent coating results in water droplets that fly off the surface of the windshield at the slightest of angles or wind speeds.

This year ZTechnik has also already added new Quantum+ hardcoated options for the BMW F 900 GS (2024 and up); the BMW R1250 R (2023 and up) and on the National Cycle branded VStream, with more to come!
