Bimota by Kawasaki and Puig continue collaboration


As announced in 2024, Barcelona based accessory manufacturer Puig will continue collaborating with the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team for another year.

The alliance between Puig and the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, in cooperation with KRT (the Kawasaki Racing Team) was confirmed for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, consolidating Puig as the team's technical supplier since 2017.

For the 2025 lineup, the team retains English rider Alex Lowes, who finished fourth in the overall standings in the 2024 season, and Axel Bassani - "reaffirming the commitment to competitiveness and technological excellence which defines the team."


Carles Puig, Export Manager at Motoplastic Puig, expressed his excitement for the new season: "Since Biel (Roda, BbKRT Marketing Manager) announced that they would be competing with Bimota this year, we at Puig have been especially eager to see them in action. The idea of seeing Bimota back on circuits worldwide excites us as much as it does thousands of fans. As always, our design team will meet the team's demands, providing the best possible support. On behalf of everyone at Puig, we encourage them with enthusiasm and confidence to see them on the podiums and winning races."

With this renewal, Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team and Puig strengthen their commitment to technological development and excellence in competition, maintaining their focus on innovation and performance within the WorldSBK grid.

In additional race news, Puig continues to support Ana Carrasco's career in her new adventure in WorldSSP 2025 as she joins forces with Honda France, with the technical support of Puig

After competing in various categories throughout her career, Murcian rider Carrasco embarks on this new stage with the goal of establishing herself in the highly competitive WorldSSP scene. The collaboration between Puig and Honda France strengthens their commitment to the rider's development, providing the technical backing needed to tackle this demanding season.

Ana commented after the agreement: "I am very happy to continue being part of the Puig family for another year. We have spent many years together, achieving great successes, such as becoming World Champions last October." Additionally, Puig will also offer technical support to her teammate, French rider Corentin Perolari.
