Lightweight high-performance RK XRE series
RK XRE series chain was originally designed and developed with cutting edge technology from various international on and off-road racing, realising racing performance combined with high durability and lightweight – to provide quick and smooth acceleration.
The RK 520XRE can be used for both on-road and off-road purposes. It equipped the 2025 Dakar Rally BAS World KTM Racing Team proving a reliable and capable team, with the team (including #96 Tobias Ebster, see here) finishing without any problems.
Using the technology developed for the Honda XL750 TRANSALP OEM specification chain, the RK 520XRE, 525XRE and 530XRE are designed with the concept of being not just suitable for general street riding (Touring, Sport and Off-Road) but as a robust, highly durable yet also lightweight race grade performance chain with FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) teams.
Thanks to its race-developed technology, the RK XRE Series provides excellent acceleration response and manoeuvrability and feature RK's XW-Ring seal technology. This technology is based on a unique, RK proprietary concept of two lubrication pools and three contact lips - a triple barrier structure to further seal the lubrication and prevent dirt and debris from penetrating the inner rollers/bushings of the chain. The durability has been seen by dealers, riders and racers to be a dramatically improvement over the XSO series chains that it supersedes.
The RK XRE Series can be applied to significantly wider displacement range than previous race proven quality models. Available in natural, gold, black, red, blue, green, orange, and yellow colours.
