In Q4, 2024, the motorcycle market in Spain saw noticeably fewer regulation deadline beating Euro 5/Euro 5+ pre-registrations that was the case elsewhere - or else ANESDOR, the latest data from the motorcycle industry association in Spain show the H1 motorcycle market at +6.58% (112,880 units).
The data does show evidence of the 'pre-reg' effect with January and February negative, but since then the market has seen growth over 2024 levels, with June a bumper month at +20.35% (24,908 units).
Honda is market share leader with a 23.8% market share, ahead of Yamaha second (15.2%), Zontes third (8.5%), BMW forth (6.1%) and Kymco fifth (5.3%).
The Yamaha NMAX 125 is the best-selling model (6,419 units/5.7% share), followed by the Honda PCX 125 (4,508/4.0%) and the Zontes 368 G in third (3,704/3.3%).
