Spanish registrations

Spain - registrations to July +9.95%

In Q4, 2024, the motorcycle market in Spain saw noticeably fewer regulation deadline beating Euro 5/Euro 5+ pre-registrations than was the case elsewhere. The most recent data from ANESDOR, the motorcycle industry association in Spain (January to July 2025) show the motorcycle market at +9.95% (141,249 units).

This suggests that the 'pre-reg' seen in January and February 2025 was not as severe as elsewhere, and that it has not been 'worked out' with the recent sales data showing genuine growth over 2024 levels.

Indeed, June was a 'bumper' month with growth of +20.35% (24,908 units) over June 2024 and July has proven to have been even stronger at +25.78% (28,369 units) following the +9.82% (23,183 units) seen in May 2025.

In the first seven months of the year total PTW registrations (including mopeds) were +9.29 (148,594).

Honda remains market share leader YTD with a 23.2% slice of the action, ahead of Yamaha second (15.3%), Zontes third (8.2%), Voge fourth (6.5%) and BMW fifth (5.7%). They are followed by Kymco, SYM, Kawasaki, Piaggio and QJMotor.

The Yamaha NMAX 125 continues as the best-selling model YTD (8,077 units/5.7% share), followed by the Honda PCX 125 (5,741/4.1% share) and the Zontes 368 G in third (4,438/3.1%). The SYM Symphony 125 is fourth, followed by the Voge 900 DSX in-line twin - the best seller among higher displacement models in Spain.
