Factory racing spec, OEM-compatible MX brake caliper upgrade

Dutch MX brakes and sprocket specialist Moto-Master has introduced a "factory racing spec" MX brake Caliper Series that promises "the next level of stopping power".
"The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is being able to engineer-in that little extra quality and precision to make the difference," says Moto-Master's Rolf Verhagen.
The MXC features an ultra-rigid bridge design that eliminates all flex and increases stopping power. The excellent modulation means maximum control, enabling you to go faster with confidence because of the smooth and more predictable braking action. The optimal piston retraction prevents wheel drag thanks to a specially developed high temperature resistant piston and seal combination that optimises the piston retraction.

"With the MXC Series we set out to make a caliper which is more lightweight, more compact and reduces the caliper flex that is associated with most OEM capiler designs to an absolute minimum."
Moto-Master's MXC precision machined billet caliper is a bolt-on factory racing performance upgrade that "sets a new benchmark for aftermarket motocross calipers. The compact and rigid design delivers the best possible brake power transfer and optimal rider feedback".
Up to 20% lighter than a standard cast aluminium caliper, the top quality one-piece caliper body is made out of 7075 grade billet aluminium with a durable, hard nickel plating for added protection. The race-proven, closed stainless steel piston design prevents accumulation of dirt while remaining extremely heat resistant.
It is fully OE compatible, fitting the OEM brake pads and the OEM adapter. The brake pads and accessories are included; caliper service kits and replacement parts are available. All research and development is done in-house by Moto-Master in the Netherlands.
The MXC series was extensively tested by JM-HONDA MXGP. Team owner Jacky Martens states that the MXC has proven to be "very reliable, providing a fixed pressure point all through the temperature range, along with excellent modulation." JM-HONDA MXGP has adopted the MXC caliper for use in 2021 MXGP.
It is available for popular models, including KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha. "The OEM compatibility makes the MXC the ultimate user-friendly upgrade," says Rolf.
