The 'Dark Matter'
Italian specialist QD has introduced this slip-on for the versatile and popular Ducati Multistrada V4. Features include removable dB killer, an external titanium can, a carbon fibre end cap and a new GP style grid on the outlet.
The 'Dark Matter' version has a special ceramic matt black, temperature resistant coating on the titanium outer body of the silencer; the silver version is in natural titanium finish.
The dB killer is easily pulled out by removing the carbon end cap and the grid - the design of this one allows it to then be refitted without the baffle.
The kit includes carbon fibre heat shields developed to perfectly match the design of the bike. The matt black colour, the GP style grid and the use of carbon fibre give the product a very aggressive look; the tone of the sound is very deep thanks to the use of an internal cartridge with special features developed by the QD R&D department. The weight is around 2 kg.
The system is street legal with European Euro 5 certification; it fits on the stock catalytic converter and is compatible with Multistrada side panniers. Activating the accompanying service card extends the warranty by 30 months.
